A new racing series is set to hit America this year and it promises to be radical. After successful series in the UK, Middle East, Europe, and Australia, the Radical Cup is set to hit our shores.

The 2013 Radical Cup USA will be open to all Radical SR3s and SR8/Coupes and will aim at up-and-coming talent with the overall champion getting an LMP2 test with a top European Le Mans team. Class champions will get the opportunity to race in the Radical Masters Euroseries.

Twelve rounds of racing will happen over six events with the season kicking off on March 29-31 at Miller Motorsport Park in Utah. The second event will be April 12-14 at Road Atlanta, while the third will take place at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca from June 28-30. The fourth event will return to the east coast where racers will compete at Virginia International Raceway from July 12 to July 14. Heading into the final stretch of the season, the second-to-last event will be at AutoBahn Country Club in Illinois on July 26-28 before the 2013 season ends at Monticello Motor Club in New York on September 6-8.

Both SR3s and SR8/Coupes will race at the same time, but in separate classes. Unique to the Radical Cup however, the overall champion is determined from the competitor with the highest point total from either class. Class winners from each round will receive a set of Dunlop tires and each round of the championship will be broadcasted online with the final race being televised.

All drivers looking to enter must have prior racing experience and hold a current license with SCCA, NASA, IMSA, FIA, or Grand-Am.
